Everyone has experienced having their pads wear out while practicing .
It cuts your flow, you cant play anymore, especially when you only have that one yoyo with you. The “green thingy” is where a groove is located; a groove with the same dimensions as the pads the Weaver uses, so when you wear out your pads, just swap them with the extras you have, then you’re good to go!

‎”…bakit The Weaver ang pangalan nung yoyo..?”

The original name for the project was “the edge”. But unfortunately, a company in HK already released a yoyo of the same name. So I looked at a list of machine names (as our company’s name is yoyomachine) and I saw “..automated cotton weaver..” It was a fast and interesting machine, the new yoyo was fast on the string and easy on the tricks, so, yeah, THE WEAVER it is.

On another note, The Weaver is also a fun name, because the character “nerubian weaver” in DOTA was hella fast as well.. YYM
